Day 53: Perpetual Blob State

I feel like I’ve entered this self-perpetuating state where I’m not making clear decisions. For example, I’m tired because I’m not sleeping enough, and in my sleep-deprived state, I don’t have the self-control to go to sleep at a reasonable time so I just make the problem worse. And when I wake up from poor sleep, I tell myself that it doesn’t make sense to exercise, and I add poor eating habits (read: consuming sugar bombs in the form of Reese’s cereal and chocolate oat milk) to add to the state of blobiness. All this put together makes me feel a bit hazy, but I think I can recover by focusing on fixing my sleep schedule. It does not bode well that I’m typing this after midnight because I was putting off writing today’s post because of the aforementioned blobiness.

I’ve spent a lot of time these past few days working on Hide Feed (I finally reverted all the changes I made for using iframes instead of directly injecting content and it makes me sad that I couldn’t figure out a way to make iframes fast enough, but it is what it is), but I’m wondering whether I should try to finish Intention like I had planned last week. I was supposed to launch Intention on Hacker News this past Tuesday, but I had the two-day hackathon and I was just wiped out from that. Still recovering, yo.

I’m feeling pretty tired and having trouble thinking clearly right now, so I’m going to cut this entry off here and hopefully make my way back to normalcy because things feel a bit off.

Note to self: Don’t sacrifice sleep.
