Day 514: Two Week Deadline

status

Okay, I really want to launch Browserflow while I’m in Hawaii because:

(1) I want to take advantage of the fact that I’m surrounded by people who can dish out great advice since they have much more experience

(2) If I don’t launch here, it feels like it will never happen

So I’m setting a two-week deadline to launch Browserflow which means that I need to get it to open beta sometime before 6/16.

There’s an alternative path where I keep it closed beta but create an invite system so that existing members can invite new people. That might be fun for creating buzz, but that’d mean building out an invite system and it’d probably end up being more procrastination to shipping.

My plan:

  • This week

    • Build basic in-product onboarding
    • Onboard people with strong business use cases from waitlist
    • Come up with 3 example hero use cases and build flows for them
    • Improve marketing site

  • Next week

    • Open it to everyone in private beta list, iterate on feedback, and iron out bugs

  • Two weeks (on or before 6/16)

    • Launch!
