Day 480: oh my build
programmer log: 1619783251200 milliseconds since epoch (4:47am)
the build does not deploy.
firebase shows me an error message: [31;1mERROR: [0mfailed to initialize cache: failed to create image cache: accessing cache image "us.gcr.io/browserflow-app/gcf/us-central1/82901d15-12f3-4120-a67e-91833a3443ad/cache:latest": failed to get OS from config file for image 'us.gcr.io/browserflow-app/gcf/us-central1/82901d15-12f3-4120-a67e-91833a3443ad/cache:latest'
that means nothing to me.
i have tried googling parts of that error message, hoping that a kindred spirit also struggling to make an electricity-infused rock do some magic would enlighten me with clues on how to escape this pit.
empty.
deploying a previously successful build now fails.
is it me or firebase?
am i taking crazy pills?
there is no one who knows my suffering.
i am all alone.
linus, blessed be thy name. hear my cries and deliver me from evil
update: looks like my images got corrupted or something because deleting all the docker containers that firebase functions automatically creates in the container registry fixed the issue. i didn’t touch any of them or modify any settings so i suspect firebase recently changed how images are created or read (aka not my fault!!!!) and i’m MAD that i stayed up until 5am for this crap. linus may you rain down curses upon my enemies
