Goals

  • Foundation

    • ❌ Go to sleep before 11pm at least 3 times

    • ✅ Move to a monorepo

      • I thought this would take a day or two, but this migration ended up taking up most of my week due to getting stuck in configuration hell figuring out how to make a monorepo play nice with deploying on Vercel and Firebase. It was painful, but I’m already seeing the benefits of making this change (shared code! unified commits and GitHub issues for changes that affect both the client and the server!) so I’m glad I did it. I hope I don’t have to tinker with webpack/Typescript/Babel/ESLint configs for a long, long time.

    • ✅ Support web scraping with Loop Elements in the cloud

    • ❌ Come up with plans and pricing

    • ❌ Enforce plans and pricing in app

    • ❌ 2020 taxes

Week 67

My plan for the next several weeks:

  • This week: Plans and pricing
  • Next week: Improve onboarding
  • Monday, April 26: Open up the beta

In other words, this is my final week of doing any sort of feature development before I focus on getting things ready for a (soft) launch.
