Day 733: 2022 Goals

Before I get into my goals for 2022, I want to make a very, very important caveat to put all of this into context. The goals that I’ve come up with below are specific and measurable (all you productivity nerds out in the back, yell out “SMART goals!” with me), but the most important things in life aren’t measurable:

  • How kind are you?
  • What is the quality of your being?
  • How healthy are your relationships?
  • How much love do you experience in your life, both giving and receiving?

The goals below exist in the context of the things above being understood as being far more important and meaningful. I feel the need to make this clear because as a society, we tend to overly focus on the things that can be quantified and compared. It’s easy to obsess over how much money you’re making or how many followers you’ve accrued, but it’s critical to remember that these things don’t really matter. It’s fine to play the game, but remember that it’s just a game.

Okay! Now let me tell you the various levels I’d like to unlock this year in the games I’m playing.
