Day 720: merry merry

personal

today:

  • rode 1.5 hours on my tiny motorcycle from la to fullerton. the cold weather made me brr and the driver who pulled out in front of me made me grr but all the nice people who waved and said hi made me smile

  • had christmas lunch with the fam at a korean restaurant. i was surprised by just how many of them were open today and i hope they all raked in cash money for working on christmas. god i love soontofu. hands down best vegan option in korean cuisine

  • celebrated my stepmom’s birthday. got her an air fryer because it’s revolutionized my cooking game and she was super happy b/c she’s said she’s wanted one for years. hearing that was bittersweet b/c it’s a reminder of how scarce money is for my parents but i’m glad i’m able to help out somewhat
