Day 574: Week 83 Plan

i was ready to write today’s week plan but i’m dying from allergies even though i have no idea where i went that could’ve triggered it (i did go jogging outside so maybe i have a pollen allergy too??? when did my body become so weak) so now i’m just going to try to pass out because being conscious is exhausting

~ next day ~

okay i’m back but dang i gotta figure out this allergy stuff out because it’s by far the most annoying health thing i have to regularly deal with (woke up in the middle of the night mad congested and couldn’t fall asleep last night so now i’m super tired today yay)

Week 82

Goals

  • Routines

    • ❌ Workout 3 times

      • Went jogging and worked out once so not completely bad but boy, moving around so much makes it hard to set up a stable routine
  • Browserflow

    • ✅ Limit local execution time based on plan

    • ❌ Create sale for extension paid plan

      • Got customers without the sale so second-guessing doing this
      • If I did a sale, I know I’d probably get customers who would otherwise not buy at all, but not sure if it’s worth doing now
    • ❌ Launch to waiting list

  • Unplanned

    • 🎉 Got my first customer
    • 🎉 Have my tweet about getting my first customer blow up, leading to 4 more customers

Summary

Massive week — went from having Browserflow be a passion project bringing in no revenue to being a baby business that has customers!

Limiting the local execution time based on the plan worked out quite well because three users upgraded after hitting the 30 minutes per month limit on the free plan. (Two users

Left Vegas on Tuesday (thanks so much Ben and Mai for always being the best hosts) and I’m back in SoCal until I’m off again.

Week 83

Speaking of traveling, I booked my flight and retreat in Peru! Leaving next Monday so I have one more week of focused work time before I take my first full break in 1.5 years~

Since I’ll be off-the-grid in two weeks, I’m going to focus on setting up my existing customers and improving the product instead of marketing and getting more customers. (I’m surprised that as I write this, there’s a tinge of “oh darn” here — I’m starting to actually enjoy marketing + sales calls wow)

In other words, the next two week will be product-focused (building mode) rather than marketing-focused.

Goals

  • Routines

    • Workout 2 times
  • Browserflow

    • Set up flows for customers (automation consultant-type work)

    • Build auto-retry for cloud flows

      • Sometimes flows fail for intermittent reasons (the site takes too long to load, etc.) so having a way to automatically retry the flow will be great for stability)
    • Build an API for calling and scheduling flows

    • Build webhooks

    • Set up Browserflow blog
