Day 427: Week 62 Plan

Week 61

Goals

  • Foundation

    • ✅ Wake up before 9am at least 3 times

      • Woke up before 9am every single day this past week. This wasn’t quite intentional — I’ve been waking up at around 5 or 6am feeling wide awake despite only having slept around 6 hours. Waking up super early is my ideal routine so I’m hoping I can make this consistent.
    • ❌ Set up new workout routine

      • I haven’t yet come up with a new workout routine that targets skill development (handstands, planche, etc.), but I have been doing my normal calisthenics routine with my housemates which has been quite a lot of fun. I also completed my first week of calorie tracking via MyFitnessPal, which I’m doing for the first time since college!

I didn’t set work goals for this week because I wasn’t sure what I wanted to work on and I also wanted to take it easy as I settled into my new place in Vegas. Ended up having a pretty productive week where I was able to make quite a few improvements to Browserflow’s UX. It was productive in the sense that I wrote code and closed a bunch of issues, but it still failed the test that Shiva asked me the other day: “Is this the most important thing you could be working on right now?” Just having him ask me that question on a regular basis would probably do wonders for making sure I’m not going down silly rabbit holes.

Week 62

Had a super inspiring call with my friend Chris, whose startup has taken off in the past few months. It was a much-needed reminder that I can be moving and learning at a much faster pace if I’m willing to consistently step outside my comfort zone.

I want to lean into whatever inspires the most discomfort or fear, and right now, that feels like reaching out to potential customers to see whether Browserflow could help them. So that’ll be what I do.
