Day 303: red
i knew my grandpa was proud to bleed red when i found the picture of trump he hung in our kitchen, but tonight, he took it to the next level by tripping on the step in front our house and gushing blood from his face due to a cut on his eyebrow
dad thought it’d be fine to take grandpa to see his doctor tomorrow, but i knew better than to trust him after he told me that he thought it was more likely than not that bill gates had manufactured the coronavirus under the orders of the illuminati in order to exterminate 80% of the earth’s population. yeah, the same bill gates fighting to solve the world’s biggest problems and spending his fortune to save lives. i wish i were making this stuff up.
it was the right call because the physician assistant who stitched up my grandpa’s face told me that the earlier you can get a wound looked at, the better because it lowers the chances of infection. they wouldn’t have put stitches in if the injury had happened over 12 hours ago because the risk of infection is too high. she asked me what i was studying in school and i laughed and said that i worked and she said it was a good thing that i looked so young and literally 10 minutes later another nurse asked me if i was over 18 and seriously do i still look like a high schooler?
also it’s mind blowing to me that one out of every two voters in this country wants donald trump to be president because he’s so obviously grotesque and unfit to lead this country in my mind and it’s crazy that so many people can see the same man constantly spouting lies and come away with a different conclusion. but then again my dad thinks hilary clinton had child sex slaves underneath a pizza shop so what do i really know about how people’s minds work now
people need to get off the internet and go sit in silence for a few months
ok i’m just tired and grouchy from the exhaustion of staying at the er until 2am
