Day 267: 500 & 13

status

oops i’ve somehow gone back to being nocturnal

although right now, it’s due to me being HYPED to work so it’s much better than the reasons before where i was staying up to play starcraft and get wrecked by strangers on the interwebs

two milestones? achievements? notable numbers? today:

  • 500

    i’ve reached 500+ issues in my github repo for browserflow. mind you, there are 62 issues open at the moment so i haven’t closed 500 issues all by myself, but even seeing numbers above 500 for new issues i create is a reminer of just how much freaking work i’ve put into this project

    for comparison, intention has 269 issues with 220 of them closed

    i worked for 13 hours today and it feels like the first time in a long while where i could sit down and focus. i’d forgotten how nice it feels to get into flow and knock out a bunch of issues. it’s amazing how effective it can be to just (1) write down what you want to do and (2) go down the list

i’m hoping this is a resurgence of the insane energy i had a few months ago when i started browserflow so that i can take this over the finish line (lol as if it’ll ever actually be finished) with the same pizzazz rather than fizzle out and let out a quiet whimper of “i don’t know what to do with this anymore, lord just take this off my hands” and have the sky part and a thunderous voice bellowing “WHAT IS THIS CRAP”

ok i maybe have gone on a little tangent there but oh yeah i was also thinking about how i want to incorporate more fun into my writing rather than being so Serious and Business and Matter-of-Fact in my writing. life is more fun being silly so why not
