Day 161: Headshot

Yesterday, I learned that you can play Counter-Strike 1.6 in the browser. This game is fairly special because it was one of the first computer games I ever played. I was in junior high; my computer just barely met the technical requirements to be able to play; my brother, my sister, and I would have our own little LAN parties.

One of the reasons why I no longer play games is because I get seriously hooked when I do. This weekend, instead of working on Browserflow, I’ve just been playing Counter-Strike. I was surprised to find that I still remember all the keyboard shortcuts: B 4-3, B 6, B 8 2 to buy an M4, ammo, and armor.

It’s been fun, but it’s 4AM now and this is seriously no bueno. I’m reliably terrible at doing things in moderation.
