Day 15: Junkie

I’m leaving Austin at the end of this month, and that means taking care of some big errands like selling my car. I’ve been spending a lot of time responding to emails, texts, and messages from people responding to my Cragslist and Facebook Marketplace posts and setting up appointments to show them the car, and it’s become much harder to make progress on my normal work.

Even though I rationally know that I won’t be able to do as much on Hide Feed because of the time spent completing these life tasks, I still hold the expectation that I should be able to make meaningful progress and subsequently feel disappointed when I inevitably don’t. My desire to spend more time on this to try to make several hundred more dollars is waning away, and I’m considering taking a fairly low offer just to get this over with.

Selling a car just doesn’t provide the same hit as fixing a bug or implementing a new feature, you know?
