Day 140: Week 21 Plan
Week 20
Launched Intention 1.3.0
I launched Intention 1.3.0 which featured a significant rewrite that dropped load times by 50%. Very happy that there haven’t been any major issues.
Incomplete tasks
I didn’t complete quite a few items that I had planned for this week. The pattern seems to be that if I have development work and non-development work, the development work finds a way to filling up all my time. I want to be more mindful of this and prioritize getting non-development work done first whenever possible so that I don’t end up pushing it off week after week.

Monster read, but worth it. Well written, although there’s a surprising number of typos.

Send emails to 3 journalists about Intention
I’ve been putting this off because I want to do it right, but I honestly just need to suck it up and fire off some emails. Chances are that nothing will happen so just go ahead and do it!

Week 21 Plan
Motivation
In the last few days, there’s been a significant drop in motivation to do anything. I’m not particularly worried because I know that this comes in cycles, and some of the contributing factors seem to be the uncertainty around what to do next and a messed up sleep cycle (went to bed after 5am the last two nights!).
I’ve noticed that I’m not as excited to do the things that I normally enjoy like working out and practicing yoga. I mean, this sounds like classic signs of burning out, so I’m going to take a week to take it easy and not touch Intention for a bit (with the exception of the non-development tasks rolling over from last week). I’ll re-evaluate next week and see how I feel then.
Not sure what I’ll do yet, but maybe I’ll build some random extensions for fun. Or learn Next.js? Or maybe not even build anything at all but read and walk around? Who knows.
